Being a member of Maidstone and The Weald Conservatives means that you have joined the most open and democratic political party in Britain.

After the first three months of your membership, you will be entitled to a vote in Party ballots. You will also have a chance to influence Party policy by letting us know your views.

We have a thriving team of activists who work throught the year, not only at election time, promoting conservative values and working hard with local community groups. Involvement within the Association can take on a whole variety of roles. As little, or as involved, as you would like to or are able to.

Any person living in the United Kingdom is eligible to join the Conservative Party. Applicants are not required to be registered voters or UK nationals. There is no upper or lower age limit on membership, although children under the age of 15 cannot be enrolled as full voting members.
We must capitalise on this current resurgence, and strive for a larger, stronger and co-ordinated membership.

Join as a Member

Members play an active role in the Party, and receive important voting rights in Party elections.

As a Member, you’ll be able to:

  • Decide who represents the Party in local, general and European elections
  • Vote in elections for the Party Leader and in your local Association’s AGM
  • Attend Party Conferences
