New Year Message From The Chairman

May I firstly wish all our members and supporters a happy new year.

As always there is a lot happening and much to do. At a national level we face many challenges and as the party in power we will inevitably take the blame for the tough decisions that have to be made. We as members of the party have a crucial role in communicating what we are doing as the government in power and why to the wider community.

At county and borough level our councillors will need to continue to make difficult decisions and again they need our support. There will be borough elections in May and your assistance with campaigning would be very welcome.On a lighter note we will have a busy programme of social/political events and I would ask for you to support these. These are important both as an opportunity to meet other members and supporters but also to support all important fundraising that is so necessary.
