Allington is a great place to live and work and I intend to ensure this continues. However, in tough economic times thanks to the last Labour government, the challenge will be to retain the level of local services we have come to depend upon. Only the Conservatives can deliver these services in a cost efficient and effective manner.

I am a firm believer in the Big Society where people take an active role in the community by volunteering. I would like to ask Allington residents to take up the challenge of the Big Society to help those within our community who need help in accessing our local services, or by helping to run some of our local community groups.

I aim to encourage the youth of Allington to come forward and volunteer to assist others within the community.
