Sue Dishman has worked for  Maidstone Conservatives since 1996 and started as secretary to the then Agent, Brian Moss.  Sue was a Borough Councillor between 1992 and 1996 for East Ward.

Previously to 1996 Sue was Chairman of East Ward when we were part of the Mid Kent Constituency with Andrew Rowe as the MP. ISue was Chairman of the CWCC for 3 years in that time.

All in all Sue has been an activist for some 25 years – "heaven knows where’s that gone!" 

One of her over riding memories is going to a meeting and volunteering to stuff envelopes but left the meeting Chairman of a re-vitalised East Ward along with the selected Candidate at the time and winning a seat back from the Liberals after 3 re-counts. Sue says, "It was so unbelievably exciting and some of those who joined me at the time are still with us today!"

Sue now runs our offices at Albion Place and continues to be a real brick within our Association structure.
